Thanksgiving pics
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my parents' house in South Jordan. My Mom and Dad went all out and so did my sisters with their pies. My Brazilian twin was there and that tickled me. Maddie brought her new love interest and he made us all laugh. We had a pie tasting contest which was awesome. We liked Laura's crust and Maddie'

A typical Sunday night at the Zambrano Home
We spent the afternoon over at Ken's watching the Broncos lose to the Raiders. How did that happen? Ken saved Elena from choking on a cinnamon hard candy and then he kicked us out. We did have a delicious dinner of steak, eggs, rice and lentils before all of this happened so Elena had enough food in her stomach to force the candy out when Ken performed the Heimlik (sp?) maneuver on her. We had chocolate milk and cookies for dinner. The only thing not typical was the fact that Naui isn't here.

Our last Nancy Drew Book Club Meeting
We just finished books 55 and 56 of the Nancy Drew original series. They were The Mystery of Crocodile Island and The Thirteenth Pearl. I am so sad that our club is done. I will really miss it even though it takes a lot of effort to get the kids situated and to get up to Salt Lake every month. My camera batteries died so I only have one picture from our event. It was over the top. Sherry made magnets and Lisa made bookmarks. Lisa made a delicious afternoon tea service complete with pumpkin ice cream. I had the lavender tea. Ollie came too. He was so dang cute. My Mom and Maddie were there and Carol of course. Carol gave me the cutest Nancy Drew bag and two amazing Nancy Drew books. It was magical. I love Nancy Drew.

My International Flight Attendant
The kids tried to sneak up on Naui and surprise him at the airport, but somehow we missed each other. They were so excited!!! We had a fun and very short weekend. We celebrated Naui's birthday by making a carrot cake and singing. Lolo and Ollie were already asleep at that point. The truth is the cake fell, but I fixed it. Our only hope as desperate housewives is that something, some time will work out--I just saw a little bit of Desperate Housewives and this was something that Bree (sp?) said. This is our plight. Happy Birthday Naui!!!
